Lose No Time
I’m learning to live my life one breath, one step, one experience, and one moment at a time.
Moments create memories. Memories are the sum of life. Together, they create a breathtaking picture, a reflection how far we’ve come. The size of experiences in life doesn’t matter. It’s the quality, richness, and the way they connect that makes the difference. Life is long enough if we value our moment-by-moment experiences.
Writer Jennifer Donnelly asked a reality-shifting question: “Why is it that weeks and months and years go by so quickly, all in a blur, but moments last forever?” Because time feels longer when we are in flow (completely immersed in an experience with all of our consciousness). When we’re fully present in the moment, time seems to slow down. If we’re hyper-focused on something, it can feel like time stretches out. The opposite is true. If we’re on autopilot, time can fly by. When we’re stuck in a repetitive situation, we miss the true value of time.
