Have you ever given someone your time and felt like it was the greatest gift you could offer? Time is precious, but presence is worth more; it’s a gesture of goodwill and generosity.

Presence is more valuable than time.

Presence over time is about being mindful of life’s journey and savouring the experiences along the way.

It is about finding joy in the journey instead of getting caught up in the destination. It is about being present in each moment, no matter how mundane or extraordinary.

When we give anyone or anything our undivided attention and are truly present during the experience, the outcome is far greater than the investment of time.

Presence communicates attention

“Live the actual moment. Only this actual moment is life,” argues Thích Nhất Hạnh, a Buddhist monk.

Our presence is a valuable gift that can impact the lives of those around us. It can be the difference between a good conversation and a great one, between a regular and a best friend.
