Your sense of self changes over time
Who are you today? Who were you a year ago? What are your thoughts and feelings about yourself, your life, your experiences, and the world around you right now? Are they fixed, or have they evolved? And are you evolving into your best self?
Your interests and values evolve as you go through different stages of life. Sometimes, this evolution can feel like a roller coaster ride: you are forced to consider who you are, what your purpose is, and how to find meaning in a chaotic world.
These changes don’t occur in neat little packages, meaning you might not even notice them until you look back on your life. But these shifts are always there bubbling beneath the surface — and it helps to be conscious of them to take charge of the direction of your life.
