Genuinely great people rely on principles, productivity system, proactive routines, rituals and rules to make progress.

They take action based on patterns that have consistently delivered the results and outcomes they want.

But to stay ahead of themselves, the competition or plan for their future selves, they consistently prove themselves wrong.

They repeatedly ask themselves if the systems they’ve built for themselves are still serving them or whether they are relevant today. They are open to prove themselves wrong.

Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are two of those people.

They are both highly ambitious entrepreneurs who rely on many decision models to make long-term decisions.

Elon Musk once said, “constantly think about how you could be doing things better and questioning yourself.”

In his 2015 letter to shareholders, Jeff Bezos said irreversible decisions.. “must be made methodically, carefully, slowly, with great deliberation and consultation.”
